Job Description:
The Anaplan Senior Developer/Consultant is responsible for delivering and supporting Anaplan solutions for the enterprise. They are responsible for working with Business Analysts, Solutions Architects, and other developers in delivering functionality through an Agile delivery methodology; for providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing solutions that meet user requirements by utilizing the Anaplan platform, Analytics and Excel experience and for testing developed solutions in a fast paced and rapidly growing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Overall 5+ years IT experience with at least 2 year experience in implementing Anaplan solutions.
2.Good understanding of the Sales / Operations / Finance domain, including financial, territory management, performance management platform and Sales forecasting modeling expertise
3.Ability to translate from model-building in Excel to multi-dimensional technologies
Experience participating in AGILE scrum sessions
4. Understanding of business processes in Anaplan including but not limited to model architecture, master data management and workflow
5.Performing data integration between internal systems mainly Salesforce and Anaplan.
Monitoring data flows to and from internal systems to ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate
Continuing to develop & keep Anaplan current as they provide new release across the platform
Supporting the design and gathering of business requirements for enhancements in the Anaplan models.
6.Build application models that will package specific planning processes (e.g. sales forecasting, financial planning and forecasting, workforce planning, etc)
7.Prior experience in statistical modeling on R. Expertise in R, Predictive modeling
Prior experience into SAS and other BI tools such as SQL, Qlikview & Business objects will be preferred.
8.Understanding of OLAP cubes
Skill Requirements:
BE/ME/MCA with 5+ years in IT Industry
2+ years of experience in Anaplan/any Analytics implementation
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and their interaction with business processes
2+ years of experience with data modeling and SQL
2+ years of experience in Anaplan implementation is desirable
Experience working with Salesforce.com and Big Machines integration
