• Heading the Engg & Maintenance Dept. in the plant for both electrical & Mechanical Maintenance of all machineries through proper preventive maintenance schedule (both electrical & mechanical)
• Rectifying the day to day breakdowns of the machineries
• Following up & implementing the required New Engg.
• Projects in the plant
• Organising the comparative quotations for Engg & Maintenance work from the contractors &negotiating the same with contractors through purchase committee.
• Organising AMC (Annual Maintenance contract) for the utility machineries through contractors.
• Preparing Annual CAPEX
• Playing the role of Safety officer in the plant & ensuring the safe working environment inside the plant
• Updating & Maintenance of documents related to Machineries & for ISO
• Updating & Maintaining the Statutory requirements related to Engg. & Maintenance dept. of the plant.
• Developing new competitive vendors for the purchase of Engg. Consumables.
• Developing new & competitive contractors for performing Engg. & Maintenance work & for new projects.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• B.TECH – MECHANICAL
• 10-15 years’ experience from Paints Industry into Production in a factory environment.

• Should be conversant with design principles and standards
